It grows into a low bushy mound or tuft of dark green leaves, upon which short spikes of bright violet blue flowers rise up from in early summer for several weeks. So useful in the garden as an edging plant, in the rock garden or in tubs and containers as it has a natural tendency to spread out a little. Shear lightly after blooming to
